[Travelers] 01-03 Avery Smith

Joe was very happy with his single life, but now that he was an adult, it would be great if he could settle down with someone nice and have a family.

One day, he was visiting the Festival Grounds when he met a food merchant called Avery.

It was love at first sight. They talked for hours and Joe couldn’t lose the opportunity to get to know such attractive man. Avery seemed to be perfect for Joe. He was friendly and ambitious, but a little lazy. Avery was eager to have a family as well and work more on his cooking skill. He used to work at the local bar when he was very young and then he tried his luck at the nearby city, Bridgeport. It was too hard for him, that’s why, he returned to Twinbrook and was working as a festival merchant for a while. Once Avery was free, they went on a date and it ended in the comfort of Joe’s bedroom.

Winter was close but now Joe had someone to keep his nights warmer. They started dating and Avery moved into the house.

Kezune, the dog, grew up to be a fine staffordshire bull terrier. Joe was expecting a bigger dog when he adopted him, though. Kezune wasn’t the smartest dog in the world, but he tried hard. Joe taught him some tricks and he found a dinosaur skeleton.

Avery was into gardening and cooking and Joe was in a much higher position in the journalism career. Joe decided that it was the perfect time to propose to Avery.

It was another pleasant weekend when Joe asked Avery on a date. The boys ate dinner at the local bistro and then they visited the Festival Grounds. After that, Joe took his love to the bridge and made the proposal.

Of course Avery accepted. He was wishing for that for a while.

There was even a street musician playing his keyboard around giving the perfect atmosphere for the proposal. Joe and Avery were engaged and they had to get ready for the wedding itself. However, before that, a bachelor party was more than necessary.

They invited all his friends and closed the local bar. The party was pretty wild until six in the morning. Lenny invited some lifeguards to “save” the party. The two hunks stayed at the party until the end. Everybody had a great time.

A few days later, they set up the wedding at Port-A-Party Warehouse. The venue was very beautifully decorated and all the guests were very happy with the couple.

Everybody waited for the cake and then they left the party.

It was one of the happiest days for Joe and Avery McClatchey.
